we have a few of those in the town up the road, usually operating out of old gas stations, i stay away from them no matter what they have sitting on the lot, think on this, these guys are not selling a new line of cars and trucks, so the cars they offer are not tradeins on those, so where did the cars come from? the came from wholesale auctions, the stuff dealers dont even want on their lots, they come from bank repo's which usualy were givin little to no mantenence, knowing there going to lose the car anyway, why take care of it, they also get them from law enforcement sales, [ drug bust, ect where there is a chance the vehicle has been drivin wide open for a period of time] some of them are even trade ins to them for their cars, in other words these vehicles, while many appear to be nice, thanks to a good detail shop, are really usually worn down and in their short days, there better than no car at all for sure, but there sure not [driven to church on sunday by a little old lady' units, some of these pay here trade here places will also note the cars, in other words the down payment is what they actually have in the car, your payments are their profit, they sell to people with bad or no credit who have a minimum wage type job counting on these people not being able to make the payments to them, then they can repo the car and sell it again, they actually make lots of money selling the car 2 or 3 times, [ if you have ever been forced to live on minimum wage you know its darn near impossible to survive, let alone live, much less afford a car,. insurance and mantenence on it]
