Well you do know there is the right way the wrong way and then the government way and yep the government way is the last on the list so you know it is far worse then the wrong way and yep that is why it cost so much for things for the military it has to meet a mil spec that is way off track so it cost the gov $50 for a simple $5 hammer etc etc
