36 there are several 1911 knock offs that perform well including Rock Island and Springfield that can be had new for 500 or less. I have a Rock Island that came new with the lightened trigger and hammer, ramprd mag well, wide beaver tail, nice sights and full length guide rod. Was 480 new. I've got a couple of thousand rounds through it with no problems and it shoots a 4 inche group, rapid fire at 50 ft. Shoots really nice with Hornady 185gr XTP hollow points!
