4020 at best (as Originally delivered) is an underperforming machine.Non-turbo-ed pooch. I have had 2 and though they are comfortable and operator friendly, they lacked real break-out power that other Models possessed. Our 4020 from new on started hard, blue smoked and shook while warming up and just gave us the impression it just was not ready to go to work. The early ones we had engine durability issues. We blew 2 up (DADS and the neighbors) on a silage blower before we went to superior machines. Guys on here will defend them to their death. (This is after they have tampered with the injector pumps -added turbos and put oversize pistons etc.)Or better yet do the right thing Scrap the original and put a Cummins engine in.
