That, my friend, is NOT advice, but is criticism..........unwarranted! You don't know the right rod.............do you?
He may know, or he may not... the ADVICE given is to get a PROFESSIONAL welder to look at it...
My ADVICE is to replace the broken pieces with NEW pieces...
AND both pieces of advice are worth EXACTLY what you paid for it.
