MN has had them for many years, espec in SW MN. Typically about 400 feet high. More going in, SE MN and central MN. They are computer controlled....direction, speed, shutdown, etc. When some on a farm are turning, others not, the shutdown units are "unwinding". Cables run from top to ground to carry the electricity, and the turbine can follow the wind for four turns......the cables cannot take more than 4 twists, so the "puter shuts down the unit, then starts it up again.
