We don't use much wood- only when it gets below 20, which isn't that often around here. But daughter and son-in-law bought a place last summer, and primary heat is wood.
I've got some blowdown and other stuff laying around, so we're gonna get other son to help (he doesn't need wood, just likes to work), and buzz up a bit. We'll cheat a little- wife's boss has a dandy woodsplitter, which we can use any time, so I'm planning to put myself in charge of that part of it, and let the young bucks do the buckin'.
BTW, Lou, you'd better take it a little easy on that operation- that ole buzzard is just waitin' for you to falter. . .
