I have wore many different brands but I tried a pair of Red Wings about 10 years ago and have found out they are worth the extra money. The ones I am wearing now are on there 3rd year of everyday use, was getting six months to a year out of the other brands just goes to show that American made is worth the extra money. I agree that some mink oil will prolong the boots.
