Maybe you can do that in Michigan, but in Iowa only the bicycle is legal, and that is only because it is a non-motorized vehicle. 4-wheelers and snowmobiles are NOT legal because they are NOT licensed, and cannot be licensed. Golf carts are legal in some towns and cities, but only on designated routes, and they MUST have an SMV emblem AND a flag for visibility. Several farmers around here do ride 4 wheelers on the roads, but only to go check on the cows, etc.
