Danner also offers work boot in Ladies's sizes, not sure where you can buy them locally but U.S. Cavalry in Radcliffe Kentucky and Gall's also somewhere in Kentucky sells them online/mail order, U.S. Cavalry serves the armed forces trade (sometimes all you can get on post is a non-availability slip), Gall's the law enforcement community. I sympathize with you on the steel toe, they were required in the rendering plants I worked in, once everything went Chinese it became hard to find anything that fit. If the toe box is big enough they are to wide for me. I never got along with Red Wings, their arch supports are to high and mess with my flat feet.
