Hi old--worked on a 1600 a few weeks ago--2 cyl diesel, 16hp. this one had an electric fuel pump. cycle ignition switch on & off a few times with rubber line that feeds injector pump slightly loose, til no air bubbles--tighten. loosen both lines @ injectors, open throttle @ crank engine til fuel spurts good. tighten lines, close throttle & start. also, this is a glo-plug engine & there is one spot on ign. switch that activates--light on dash tells how long--they HAVE to work--good luck
