It weaved a lot. He tried a flat surfaced tire one time and almost killed himself. He needed a rounder face to let it wander while the wheel was spinning. There were actually 7 "Bloody Mary" cycles. He build a new one every winter. That started when he was tinkering with the first one and found out the fork was broken all the way through on one side and half way through on the other. He didn't take any more chances after that. If you can ever get ahold of his book Michigan Madman,either volume 1 or 2,great and hilarious reading. The guy had an electric car back in the 60s that would do 120 in the quarter mile.
