My ex-wife found an advertizement in airplane seat back magazine for "Col. Littleton", (purveyor of fine accouterments to the gentleman trade) a single blade engraved with wooden handle lock-back knife of 3-3/4" long called FoxFire #5. Gen Office & Works, Lynnville, Tenn. (1-800-842-4075) Dunno what it cost. I stopped carrying it after 9-11 inspections started confiscating knives. I value it very much and it is eazy to sharpen and stays sharp.
I've always carried a knife since Cub Scouts in 3nd grade. The best I've had was 1-blade Kersaw with folding fingernail scissor. I currently carry 3-bladed Buck. I have a 12-blade Leatherman in my truck pocket. NOT impressed with red handled Swiss knives. Iff'n I don't have a knife in my left pocket to balance the keys in my right pocket, I walk funny.
