Ditto on the Stihl power pruner. Borrowed one from a friend/fellow soldier last week. Been trimming low hanging limbs and burning the results just about every evening. If it even comes close to hitting me while I'm on the tractor mowing, it goes. Can only run it for 10-15 minutes before it kicks my azz holding it up over head. Then I shut it down and clear off the cuttings to a burn pile. Bought one more session and this place will be squared away. I'd probably only use it like this once every 3-5 years, that would make it a good candidate for a rental. I wouldn't want to give up any shaft length in exchange for inter-changeable tools like you're looking at because the other tools don't fit my situation. If they did, I'd do it in a minute.
