I agree with you that the bi-directional concept has stagnated somewhat, really not being much more capable than the Versatile 276 of 30 years ago. I still think it is a good concept, and I think it would be much more widely accepted if NH introduced a powershift version with 150-200 HP, capable of the same versatility but more efficient than the hydro version, with enough HP to compete with modern row-crop tractors.
