Belt slack is another concern. But if the 4 link bars are parallel and tilted slightly down, when the deck is lifted the belt would get tighter when the link bars are level then slack back when they go over center. Would only need to lift the deck 6" or so. Also I believe I would need to design a bracket/link to pull the deck from the front rather than pushing it from the back. I will be in the shop all afternoon today trying to figure this out. G.
