I know what you mean ,When I met my wife she had dobe and moved in.I always had dogs on the farm but just mixed breeds.When we decided to have a bay people said you can't have doberman around a kid.That dog helped raise our daughterfor fives years.She walked on a tilt for a while learning how to walk by holding onto the dog,he never flitched once.had to replace him when he passed and my wife asked what kid of dog to get, no hesitation another dobe.He was part of the family for seven years.he was replaced by the dog we have now, the smartest dog i have ever met,like I said before we just got a second one on the weekend.She already has a place in our home as part of the family.Hope you enjoy your dog as much as we do ours
