Our prayers are with you and your wife. We all pray the doctors are wrong; it does happen! I agree with Janicholson, the pain medications will improve her quality of life. I lost a brother to colorectal cancer a few years ago. The heavy duty medications made his life much more bearable. Take the time to talk with her as much as possible during this time and make notes of what she says. By the same token, try to get her talking about all the past good times you"ve had; that"s good for both of you!
