Go to Home Depot. Take a lumber cart and find a couple of the worst looking, most bent and twisted 6X6s in the pile. Push them up front and ask for the manager. Ask him how much he will discount them as they are too rough to use for most purposes. Don't tell him why you want them unless he asks. He will generally knock off about half of the price. Now take them home and cut them into 2' pieces.
