One big thing for the motor home is you can have a place to stay at your destination when there are no motels in the area and if you have to travel 25 or more miles to get to a motel and back the next day that would get old. Most of the time when we get out it is to someplace like a fairground with activities going on and that is our destination. A place to park the home is easier to find than a motel. And flying would be out because travel was never far enough to think about something as you would be traveling as far to airport only as to destination and then you would still have to drive that far to get to destination.
