My project mounting a 720 industrial loader on my 720 standard is completed but I don't care for the hydraulic setup. Currently I have the joystick fed off my second set of outlets. I haven't tied the lever for the couplers back so to use the loader I hold the lever back, but I would like to plumb it more permanent and convenient. I have ports welded in each of the lines coming from the hydro pump but it is my understanding that the loader can't be run by just teeing into these ports. Someone asked a similiar question a few weeks ago and if I understood correctly, was advised to run the high pressure line to the loader valve and then to the powertrol, and use the return line as original. Is this correct? My loader valve also has a power beyond port as it had a backhoe on it originally. Do I leave the power beyond plugged and just run the outflowing fluid from the joystick to the powertrol to feed it? Or to get full flow to the powertrol do I need to feed it off the power beyond port, and route the outflowing fluid from the valve to the powertrol fill cap? The loader mounted well and seems to be fully capable, easily lifts the front end, just want to find a better way to feed it. Thanks for any advice.
