I agree with the post below about renting one before you spend the money to buy one. It will at least give you and idea on the size you want and what features you think you need even if you can't find the same one you rented.
The other thing is you and your wife will find out if RVing is something you actually want to do without doling out several thousand dollars first.
Its like all those people that have bought Harleys the last 10-15 years. They all love the idea of "Freedom, Open Road and Wind Blowing Through Their Hair". Problem is after they've spent $6000 to $15000 they realize they don't like riding motorcycles. Look on Craigs List in any major city and you can find lots of 5-10 year old Harleys with only a few thousand miles on them.
