I have had several trailers, and three different Motor homes The biggest plus is most campgrounds are very enjoyable most folks that use them are real nice folks.
My biggest downer is if you have to store them outside they tend to get critters as tenants.. they like to chew wires and such so I would if again to get one would be a trailer because the lights worked when I left . they get into the motors and with the computers now can cost a fortune. My last motor home was an 84 Winnebago Chieftan 24 ft only had 17000 mile and as PO and I Kept them outside under a cover the condensation had literally rotted the oil pan and last trip wasn't so exciting. I figured then since we only used it once or twice a year it was more feasible to do the Motel thing and use a gas sipper.
