David Just like a 4 thousand dollar insurance you are right..Winter before last we had bad ice and were out for three periods of over 3 days. This last mild winter no outages but figure got to spend it somewhere. Generator is just the start all this hook up is going to add to the cost but still think it will be worth it. Have several friends that have this exact unit and are satisfied, so we will see. My only reget is would have been easier if instaled three years ago when we built the house.
