The first superintendent I worked for at the golf course insisted I start everything once a week during the winter, our storage shed was like that every week when I started the diesel loader. The next year I made sure the loader was parked by a door so I could pull it out as soon as it was started, probably smarter as we might actually need the loader during the winter. Won't need the fairway mower when there's 12" of snow on the fairways.
