Rick.Don't know where your getting the informaton from , but Rugers response to us was the exact response I posted above. Nothing mentioned about election and or panic buying their product. I would suspect the ccw gathered speed with the public buying up weapons for carry.AS you know from my past post, my interest is in investment,and not ccw.I have enough of a selection for that. I really liked Victors 1911 Long slide SA.I bought a 1911 A1 SA 45 acp to ballance our carry weapons, while out and about. I'm only interested in Stainless Steel, no polimar 1/2 steel quick production model any thing. Polamar warps and twists when a certain cleaning solution is used on the weapon. Plain Black steel is O.K. if one wants to have em re-blued after a time due to rust taking over the finish. Now the gun dealers will have a multatude of STORIES they will pass on to prospective customers, but their friends will come as first served. Hope he can find one though. LOU.
