Hi Kow. Yes I sold the 2440. I worked all my plowed corn stalks with the disk. You would not believe how dry it is out there. After dark with the lights on the tractor you could not even see the disk what with the cloud of dust I was stirring up. Going to be interesting to see if the corn comes up in that ground. Won't do any good to plant deeper as there is no moisture down there ether. It is dry on top and only gets worse as you go down. My neighbor had some anhydrous knifed in and he followed with the drag. Not to seal the nitro from escape but to keep the 8" knife tracks from drying the ground some more.
