I'm thinking it was about that time for us. For some reason though,I was thinking that for just a real short time,we had one that looked like a rotary dial phone,but there weren't any numbers. Worked like the old wooden box phone on the wall,but you had the whole reciever in your hand. I might be all wet on that. I remember the phone company here was some kind of co-op deal and my mother collected the money. Everybody in the neighborhood came here to pay their phone bill. One old couple up the road always gave each of us kids a penny when they came to pay. Pixley I'm thinking was their name.
