I think it does, that's why it is so high....
On the no joking side, a lot of folks put new tires and paint on something old and sometimes used up, hoping it will fetch a premium, but many more times than not, they shoot themselves in the food because the thing goes for way less than the cost of the tires..... at least at auctions. Folks buy for the tires and scrap metal, and they get a DEAL!!!!

Today's Featured Article - Gatherin of the Orange - by Rick Nikolich. In July of 1998 I was talking to fellow Allis Chalmers collector Mike Schilling about the annual "Gathering of The Orange" AC show coming up in August of 1999.
