in-to-deep is correct no electric steering control on a "70" series, if it has a intercooler like the ad sy's it has has a 2670 motor installed or at least a 2670 intercooler as the 2470's di not have them I agree on checking hours and running it to check tranny as run improperly they can have problems, as to repairing one they need to be done by some one who is familar with the rps trans as they have to be done right to work but will last many thousands of hours if correct, that said those new tires are worth a lot paint is nice but does nothing to make it run better, also look for oil leaks at the axle and planetairy seals as these are some what high cost items to have repaired at a shop also I have run 2670's since 1976 and they are a great work horse with maintance and proper operating care cnt
