On another note, he called me last night and mentioned the engine oil pressure was fluctuating. When this engine was running on a test stand the pressure was steady, but now in the vehicle it's fluctuating.I knew it's a dry sump system so I asked him where the oil supply was and he said it was below the engine. I threw out the suggestion that there might be an air leak somewhere between the tank and the oil pump, so he checked fittings and found a loose one. The pressure is steady now so he's feeling good about that too. I just can't wait to hear it run in the vehicle. Heard it run on the test stand with no muffler and it was so noisy it was obnoxious.
