There was a show on one evening where the guys paid money to go into the Scranton Lace Co. giant industrial complex and search for stuff they could keep. Anyway during the coarse of the show they came across sewing machines and the guy said remember I got about a hundred Singer machines from a building and nobody wanted to buy them. I think you could get a few bucks from a working machine but I don't think you will find alot of value in the sewing machines. I go to sales every week and I don't see them selling myself.If you want to value an item go on eBay and press "completed listings" . That will tell you what things really sold and what did not,along with the prices as well. Good luck.
