If the offer is reached, it is locked in, without you having to watch each day, throughout the day. I averaged $13.35 doing that a year ago. Better marketing plan is to ratchet up maybe 10-15% of reasonable production level at a time. Going above 50-60% of production is extra risky if yields aren"t there...is crop insurance going to cover a shortfall? Reminds me of something about chickens and hatching.
