Took a job at HD a few years back for something to do, and I could tell you some real stories about morons who came in there with every type of vehicle and tied stuff on the roof, put things in the box, and strapped crap to the side. 12 foot 2X4's thru the rear windows, pallet of mortar on top of a box load of sand in an F150, 20 or so sheets of drywall taped on to the roof of a VW bug. A trailer made from an old small boat trailer with a load of 3/4 plywood and 2X's, made to carry a 500 lb. boat and motor with about a ton of wood on it. The doctor with about 30 2X4's stuck thru the sunroof of his Beemer, and the one end of the lumber on the passenger side floor. Or the dumb bunny who tried to strap a large, preassembled BBQ grill on top of his Mustang GT and broke the rear window out trying to tie it down, and then wanted the manager to pay for a new rear window and paint job. Darwin missed something, because they survived far past their time---
