Dandelions are the first greens of spring.My mother taught me to eat them.2 women in the neighborhood used to pick dandelions in my garden every spring.They brought me a big bag of home made raised doughnuts.Front of my hay field is beautiful when the dandelions bloom.The roots have a medicineal use.In 1957 100000 pounds of the roots were used for liver medicine.The blossoms make good wine.it seems the more money people have the dumber they get.They pay 2or3 bucks for a dozen fishing worms I get free in my garden.You can go out on the pasture and tip over cow flaps with a hand cultivator and get earthworms free.
