They were an upgraded 7000 series tractors. I'd be worried about availability and price of components outside the engine. I've heard the local independent mechanic here that specializes in AC has indicated AC transmission parts from that era are getting hard to find. Too bad as I always thought an 8030 would be a decent way to go based solely on features. Around here trade or resale value on a late AC is kind of poor so if the OP is considering moving the AC in the near future he should take that into account, too.
