A Dunham-Lier harrow will not lift very high. The Unverferth ones lifted higher. They had a linkage that made them lift more parallel to the ground. The DL ones just pivoted the rear axle. What I have done is pull them with a cross draw bar on the three point. You have to watch turning but you can lift the rear with the hydraulic cylinder and then raise the front up much higher with the three point. They would help smooth and rake roots and such. They will not work the ground very deep. If you are not going to work the ground deeper later then the harrow should work fine.
