I never painted vinyl siding, but in 1997 I painted my vinyl shutters. I went to our local Sherwin Williams paint store and they recommended their Super Latex exterior paint. They said to wash the shutters with warm soapy water and then rinse them. After they dried I spray painted them. Even after 15 years they still look nice. I paid around $25.00 for gallon of that paint in 1997. Last Fall I used the same paint and it was $21.00 for a quart of the same paint that I used to painting the door on my mini-barn. Hal
