Yes, on a briggs engine on a water pump. Picked it up used and would only run good with partial choke. Used it that way a few times a year. Last fall I put some sta-bil treated gas in it. This spring when I started it and left it on partial choke it wouldn't run right. I reached down to turn it off and pushed the wrong lever, it didn't stop and ran just fine. I had turned the choke off instead of the switch. I have tried it 3 or 4 times just to check since and it runs great. The only thing different was the sta-bil over the winter. Angle Iron
