Never had one, but have friends that do and they are all great animals. A buddy had a litter of mixed pups a few years back, half Ausie and half Blue Heeler. He asked if I wanted the only female, I said sure I'll take her. She is a great dog, but then I've always thought cross breeds are the best. She pens the goats for me, all I have to do is ask. She really likes it, and works hard to get them all going one direction. She gets pretty worked up and wants to herd cats after that and after a few bloody noses I think she figured out it's easier to leave cats alone!
