I agree with dave2. USN would give us shots to immunize. Since I got out never taken flu shot and knock on wood never got flu.
Buddy of mine swears by the shot - both he and wife get the shot then later in the yr. both are down hard with flu. Told him he was infecting himself with shots but he thinks I am cookoo.
