I think the world oil market pretty much determines the price. If oil companies can sell their product for more money somewhere else that's where it will go, so for oil to get a lot cheaper here it's going to have to get cheaper all over the world. With the huge increase in demand in China and India, and others that's not likely to happen. That being said I sure would feel better if we didn't have to import any of it from countries that hate us, mostly Venezuala and about all of the Mid-east. There must be some hidden political agenda for our so-called president to hold up the pipeline, because there's no sensible reason. Just my rant!
