That's a good statement. I had to chuckle because it's so true. They drive to the store in a car that's nicer than the car a typical wage earner drives while they're smoking a pack or two a day. Then they go home to watch the new big screen TV because they don't want to do anything else. Granted, there are some unfortunate folks out there that do need the stamps because of conditions beyond their control, my daughter was one of them for a short while, but I'll betcha they're the minority of the recipients.
