Your comments are a bit surprising. I really thought I was the only one that did not think Doctors walk on water. I constantly hear on the radio that we have the finest medical care in the world (and most expensive). My mother died recently after a year long fight with cancer. My view of the medical system did not get better with more exposure to it and more involvement in it. Unfortunately they see us at our most vulnerable. Kind of like the tow truck driver that comes along when you are stranded in a blinding blizzard, 10F below,and 30 miles to town.
You are really at their mercy. Hopefully it all works out fairly, but sometimes it is not what you hoped for or expected.
