You are correct. The fitting that came with the valve may not be the one that is needed to tap into the system. We put a third and forth valve on an 806 and it required an adapter plate that bolted onto the tractors valves that are stacked under the seat. High pressure oil went from the adapted plate to the new valves and return oil went back to the adapter plate.
