: I need to know the difference between a Super M, 400, & 450 head. I'm looking for things like combustion chamber size, intake & exhaust valve diameter or any other differences. The heads are interchangable. I am not sure about the combustion chamber size and compression ratio difference, if any, between models, but the 450 gasoline head has a 6.6 to 1 compression ratio and the 450 LP Gas head has a 8.35 to 1 compression ratio. The valves are 1&19/32 inch intake and 1&7/16 inch exhaust. The LP Gas heads also incorporate valve rotators.
