I write to the company before I buy something that I question. Many companies are starting to put USA made on their site for everyone to see. But some don"t. I was looking at a Curt 5th wheel hitches, the website says most stuff made in the States (which means write to them). Come to find out, their 16k hitches are made overseas.
Bottom freezer fridges, I wrote to kitchen Aid, Magtag, GE and Whirlpool. I know Kitchen Aid and Maytag are owned by Whirlpool, but you must ALWAYS ask.
AC and Champion spark plugs are now made in Mexico. I"ve been buying a lifetime supply of US made DJ8J and the like plugs on e-bat. The catch is you must ask before bidding.

Today's Featured Article - Oliver 550 Purchaser Checklist - by Greg Sheppard. Pound for pound the 550 is better than anything I've seen.
