The numbers I quoted for percentage is about what they end up paying for income taxes.
IN 2008, the last year I can find solid numbers for, they claim that about 50% of taxpayers in the lower income group paid in a total of less than 40,000 dollars after taxes were filed while the riches 10% paid in about 51% of all income taxes collected.
Guess I'm just tired of people who pay not taxes yelling that the rich are not paying their fair share.
