I'm using a Lexmark X5470. It works just fine with vista. I get new cartridges direct from Lexmark for the same price as I've found them on Amazon, Ebay, or at any local office supply. I've tried refilling them myself but the refilled cartridges don't last very long until they need refilled again. I've considered going with a laser type printer because the toner used in those is quite a bit less costly, but the laser printers are also considerably more costly to buy. There is no real solution.
