Kirk, as an electrical power distribution design engineer with that logical systematic orderly way of approaching problems I had considered it way back in my twenties and thirties. HOWEVER it was when I had to take an early out engineering retirement (but still with a good pension and health insurance for life) in my early foties it became more of an opportunity as a semi retirement income option. There were some other motivations of being in business and having been ripped off and screwed over a few times that made it even more desirable lol SOOOOOOOOO I bit the bullett and did it some part time while still working. Id work 8 hours then drive 75 miles to night classes then study and work it was tough about killed me Id NEVER do it again. The time and hourssssssssss of reading cases was really hard but I made it and passed the bar the first time
So it tough but its been a rewarding semi retirement career, I pick and choose what cases I take and have a very limited small home country law practice which I enjoy in the summer months. We winter in Florida and go west every year or so in the RV LIFE IS GOOD
